Bitunix, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, raised its Care Fund from $30 million to $50 million in USDC on October 19, 2026, according to a company post. The reserve is meant to support users and possible compensation in exceptional incidents requiring an exchange-level response, not losses from ordinary market movement, with any payout assessed case by case. Bitunix also published a new on-chain address for the fund so its holdings can be checked on Etherscan. The exchange said the $50 million reserve already covers the full value of its hot wallets.
