Aviva Investors launched a tokenized share class of its Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger, in an announcement with Ripple. The fund, Aviva Investors’ largest with roughly £22 billion in assets under management, is Ireland-based and holds high-quality short-dated sterling debt to seek lower-risk income and daily access to cash; it uses a digital twin model, with blockchain tokens mirroring fund holdings while the existing structure remains. Aviva Investors put £50 million, about $66 million, into the new class and now has more than £86 million, about $116 million, across two tokenized offerings. It is the firm’s second tokenized fund on XRPL, after its USD Liquidity Fund launched July 29 with Central Bank of Ireland approval.
