Ripple announced at Swell 2026 an expansion of Ripple Treasury that combines traditional cash and liquidity management with AI-powered automation and digital payment rails. The platform includes an orchestration layer working with Ripple Treasury’s AI-focused GSmart technology to coordinate workflows across cash positioning, forecasting, reconciliation, liquidity management, and payments. It also introduces 24/7 Returns, which could allow eligible corporate customers to earn returns on qualifying digital assets held in a Ripple wallet, including Ripple’s US dollar-backed stablecoin RLUSD, without managing the underlying transactions. RLUSD, launched less than two years ago, has a market cap above $2.5 billion; Cross River Bank said it would integrate the stablecoin, and Standard Chartered recently launched institutional custody support for it on the XRP Ledger.
