XRP is attempting a recovery after buyers defended the $1.25-$1.30 demand zone earlier this week, with the token trading around $1.36 and approaching the upper boundary of a short-term descending channel, a pattern of lower highs and lower lows. The rebound comes within a broader bearish structure that followed an early-2026 peak near $2.40; an August rally from about $1.00 was rejected around the $1.70 supply area, and a September attempt topped out lower near $1.65, creating a double top. The latest decline found support in the $1.25-$1.32 area. A decisive daily close below $1.25 would invalidate the defense and expose $1.15, while the channel's upper trendline is near $1.38.
