Ethereum traded at $2,269 at 16:48 UTC on Sunday, up about 0.6%, or $13, after buyers stepped in at support around $2,154-$2,159. That support combined the 0.500 Fibonacci level, drawn from the June low to the cycle peak, and the 200-day simple moving average, a 200-day price average, with a long-term trendline from early 2021 just below near $2,100. The 14-day relative strength index, a momentum gauge, had fallen close to 30 before rising to 33.83. Ethereum stayed below resistance near $2,500, including the 50-month average at $2,471 and 50-day average at $2,517, after a mid-2026 break below the trendline led to a $1,505 low and a later $2,803 peak.
