CoinDCX co-founder Sumit Gupta denied that the Indian crypto exchange suffered a new breach after Darcy, chief marketing officer at security firm Salus, flagged roughly $15.99 million in Tether (USDT) moving from wallets tagged to CoinDCX to a single TRON address late on October 21. Darcy said the largest transfer was about $15.82 million and the funds were split across wallets and sent to deposit addresses at Binance, OKX, Gate and other exchanges. Gupta said the addresses were created in January 2025 and compromised in CoinDCX’s July 2025 attack, which cost about $44.2 million, and that hackers were likely reusing them. He said current exchange addresses were checked and none sent funds to the flagged wallets.
