World Liberty Financial, the Trump-backed venture, started a buyback of its WLFI governance token on Thursday, with initial funding potentially drawn partly from income earned on reserves behind its USD1 stablecoin. WLFI has fallen about 10% since the U.S. midterms and more than 60% this year.
