Tria founder John Lilic outlined a proposal for Ripple to combine its RLUSD stablecoin, card offerings and neobanking services, potentially partnering with Visa or Mastercard. He estimated Visa processes about $350 billion weekly; capturing 10% would yield about $35 billion in weekly payments settled on the XRP Ledger and create at least $10 billion more RLUSD over three years. Lilic said broader XRP Ledger use could support XRP’s value against Ethereum. Ethereum’s market value was $279.4 billion at $2,287, versus XRP’s $79.2 billion at $1.25, a nearly $200.2 billion gap; XRP would need about $4.41, a 253% rise, to match if Ethereum stayed unchanged.
