Crypto analyst Dennis Liu, who posts as VirtualBacon, said in a video on X he is the most bullish on altcoins in four years, citing Federal Reserve balance-sheet growth since November 2025 and an altcoin-to-Bitcoin ratio at 0.48, near 0.40. He estimated a 50% chance altcoins move sideways relative to Bitcoin, 40% they improve, and 10% they underperform, without predicting a repeat of the 2020-2021 boom. Analyst Matthew Hyland backed the view, noting the median altcoin is ahead of Bitcoin year to date in 2026, the first time since 2021. This week Bitcoin was rejected under $85,000 and traded around $82,000 with dominance above 58%; Ethereum was near $2,400, down 2% weekly, while Monero rose 8% to $613.
