Customers in Southeast Asia report missing crypto from Ledger wallets bought via CryptoBilis

In early October, customers in Southeast Asia found that cryptocurrency had disappeared from Ledger hardware wallets that still appeared to function normally. The devices were purchased through CryptoBilis, an authorized reseller. Customers believed their private keys were protected inside a device designed for that purpose. According to the report, an additional component was not visible to them.
