What 1,932 US Crypto Investors Revealed About Money, Respect and Secrecy

Pollfish surveyed 1,932 crypto investors for OKX between Oct. 14 and 18, including 1,000 in the US and the remainder in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland, finding that 55% of US respondents expect to raise their crypto allocation over five years, with 22% planning a significant increase. Yet 42% of US respondents said an equal stock portfolio commands more social respect than crypto wealth, compared with 28% in Europe. Only 34% of US investors considered crypto wealth as legitimate as wealth built in stocks or real estate. The survey also found 7% of Americans share their approximate portfolio value with close friends, versus 15% in Europe, and 24% would conceal a sudden fortune, twice Europe’s 12%.
