US Ether ETFs erase September gains after $1.08 billion in October outflows

October outflows from US-listed Ether exchange-traded funds reached $1.08 billion, wiping out about $832 million of September gains and leaving roughly $485 million in net inflows for the year, with eight trading days still left in the month. The funds’ worst month since November last year followed a 9.7% fall in Ether’s price to $2,438 from $2,700, leaving the token down nearly 18% for the year. Bitcoin ETFs had about $67 million in October net outflows but about $809 million in net inflows for the year. As of October 20, Ether ETFs held about $14.98 billion in net assets, or 5.01% of Ethereum’s market cap.
