Trust Restored? Binance Attracts $2.8 Billion in Just 24 Hours

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said in a recent X post that the cryptocurrency exchange recorded $2.8 billion in net inflows over the previous 24 hours, and he retweeted a Mars BNB post showing recovery flows. The claim followed a roughly $6.3 billion hack, after which Binance paused withdrawals and later resumed them in phases on Sunday at the start of the month. Independent on-chain reporters such as DefiLlama tracked major outflows after the hack, while later reporting put net inflows around $2.3 billion. Binance officials say about 95% of affected assets are replenished, major tokens are set for full backing, and overall assets are around $171 billion.
