The Vault, a Swiss and EU-regulated custody platform for digital assets led by CEO Artem Stopnevich, is opening an engineering hub in Tbilisi through Tría Labs. Tría Labs will house developers and cryptographers working with The Vault’s Zug and Limassol offices on its proprietary MPC library, audited by Halborn this year, and on SaaS and on-premise deployments for banks, asset managers and fintechs. The office is dedicated to research and development, while licensed activities remain with entities in Cyprus and Switzerland. The expansion is intended to scale capacity as MiCA, the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, accelerates institutional demand for regulated custody; banking, tax and employment arrangements are being finalised, and first specialists are expected in Tbilisi in coming months.
