Strategy Chief Financial Officer Andrew Kang notified the company on October 26 that he would resign as executive vice president, CFO, principal financial officer and principal accounting officer effective November 5, a 10-day gap between notice and departure. Strategy, described as the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, said Kang is leaving for personal reasons and not because of any disagreement over operations, policies or practices; he will stay in a non-executive advisory role through year-end. CEO Phong Le will serve temporarily as principal financial officer, and Reza Virasteh is scheduled to become CFO on January 1, 2027. As of October 25, Strategy held 848,517 bitcoin, acquired for about $64 billion at an average price of $75,446 per unit.
