Strategy reported on Oct. 29 a record third-quarter operating income of $20.91 billion, almost entirely a paper gain on its Bitcoin, and said Chief Financial Officer Andrew Kang will step down on Nov. 5 after four and a half years. Kang will serve as an adviser until Dec. 31, while Reza Virasteh, executive vice president of operations, becomes CFO on Jan. 1, 2027. Until then, CEO Phong Le will run the finance team and, starting in January, lead finances for the Bitcoin strategy while sharing principal financial officer duties with Virasteh. Operating income a year earlier was $3.89 billion; third-quarter net income was $19.53 billion, or $44.75 a diluted share.
