Sony Sonenium Incubation Program Targets PlayStation Games and Anime

Sony launched the Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program, which opened applications on October 29, 2026, and will accept submissions through December 2026. It invites startups and creators to develop entertainment products using Soneium, Sony’s blockchain network, in categories including PlayStation games, anime, manga, music, films, esports and digital collectibles. Selected projects may receive technical infrastructure, marketing and business-development assistance, community-building help and possible investment review; screening runs from November 2026 through March 2027, with support beginning on a rolling basis. Sony has not announced any specific PlayStation crypto integration. Previously, Soneium Spark selected 32 projects from more than 1,700 applications in 2024, and Soneium For All selected 11 projects from more than 250 applications in 2025.
