When asked whether cryptocurrency will recover, Sam Altman’s ChatGPT, an OpenAI chatbot, offered a scenario-based bullish outlook: a broad crypto rally could resume if liquidity and risk appetite improved. It described the market as pulled back from prior cycle highs and still consolidating. In that recovery case, it said Bitcoin could surpass its previous peak near $124,000–$126,000 and reach $145,000–$180,000, with a stretch target above $220,000, while Ethereum could recover to $6,500–$9,000; it called the view probable, not certain. Bitcoin was trading around $76,800–$77,400 after testing support near $76,000.
