Ripple’s XRP was trading around $1.25 after failing to break above the upper boundary of a short-term descending channel, a pattern of lower highs and lows, and slipping into a key Fibonacci retracement support area, a chart-based threshold. The token has been retracing an August rally from $0.99 to $1.70 that stalled below the $1.7-$1.8 supply zone; it lost the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $1.34 earlier this month. The latest candle briefly fell to about $1.20, near the 0.702 level, before buyers pushed it back toward $1.25, though the daily close has not confirmed a defense. On the 4-hour chart, XRP has traded in a descending channel since a late-September peak near $1.65, with the latest rebound rejected around $1.33.
