PS5 Pro is Sold Out Everywhere as GTA VI Pre-Load Starts Next Week

With Grand Theft Auto VI pre-downloads scheduled to start Tuesday, Nov. 10, major U.S. retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Target, GameStop and PlayStation Direct showed the PS5 Pro as out of stock at its $899 price. Resale listings ranged from $1,399 to more than $1,600, and a late-October Best Buy restock was quickly depleted. Sony had raised the console's price by $200 on April 2, pointing to global economic pressure, while Microsoft raised Xbox prices in August after AI demand pushed up memory-chip costs. GTA VI arrives Nov. 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with PlayStation advising at least 212 GB of free storage.
