Police in Dorset are investigating burglaries at homes on Oakhurst Road and Pinehurst Road between September 30 and October 11, 2026, in which thieves took Pokémon cards, jewellery, watches and cash worth about £10,000 ($13,400). The residents were away during each break-in, and the cards stand out because they are small, portable and easy to resell online. Officers released images of the missing cards and are seeking dashcam footage, doorbell recordings and tips about anyone offered the cards for sale. Police Constable Anya Parvin said the force is still examining the break-ins and urged witnesses to come forward. The thefts come amid a booming collectible market in which scarce, well-preserved older cards command high prices.
