Payments could be the daily hook crypto super apps need, ChangeNOW’s TOKEN2049 panels suggest

ChangeNOW hosted four panels at TOKEN2049 Singapore on October 7–8, bringing together representatives from MetaMask, Trezor, WalletConnect and other firms to discuss how crypto products can reach wider audiences. Speakers argued that payments could provide the frequent everyday use that token swaps often lack, with Rubic co-founder Aleksandra Korneva noting that many swap users have no reason to transact daily and Pulsar Money CEO Alex Radu identifying payments and trading as possible foundations for multi-service apps. The event at Marina Bay Sands drew around 25,000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 300 speakers. ChangeNOW, which began as a no-KYC platform, now describes itself as a crypto super app combining swapping, storage and other tools.
