Home Depot and GE Vernova asked not to have tokenized versions of their shares included by OKXICE, joining Apple and bringing opt-outs to 59 in OKXICE’s November 3 public notice. OKXICE is a tokenization platform jointly owned by the OKX crypto exchange and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange; it offers tokenized versions of more than 60 U.S.-listed stocks. Its plan relies on a Securities and Exchange Commission innovation exemption running from September 2026 through September 2031 that lets a tokenized securities venue trade tokenized listed shares without registering as an exchange. Under the SEC system, venues must give issuers 30 days’ written notice, and silence counts as consent unless the company files an objection.
