Nvidia’s $399 Microduck draws 20,000 preorders before launch

In an October 21 clip from his GTC Berlin keynote, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang showcased Microduck robots, and Hugging Face CEO Clem Delangue predicted total preorders would probably exceed 20,000 the next day. Delangue’s post was a forecast, not confirmation the mark had been reached, and the count refers to advance orders rather than robots delivered. Pollen Robotics, which became part of Hugging Face in 2025, made Microduck; Nvidia agreed in September to acquire Hugging Face, though the deal is not expected to close until 2027. The programmable desk robot costs $399 before taxes and shipping, stands 25 cm tall, and deliveries are expected before Christmas.
