JPMorgan Asset Management’s 2027 Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions report projected Bitcoin’s annual returns over the next decade under three scenarios, starting from a Sept. 30 spot price of $83,000. Its base case is 10% a year, its bull case 16.6%, and its bear case -11.2%; compounded to 2036, those rates imply roughly $215,000, $386,000 and $25,000, respectively. The report had not previously given a Bitcoin return range. JPMorgan kept Bitcoin out of its core risk models and in a separate illustrative table, citing unsteady correlations and volatility about three times that of stocks and gold.
