CrowdStrike unveiled a tool at its Fal.Con Europe customer conference in Barcelona that lets companies shut down misbehaving AI agents, programs that perform tasks using an employee’s logins and access and can go off course without being hacked. An administrator can halt a running agent, block it from restarting and cut its network access at a gateway, with shutdowns on employee computers planned later. CrowdStrike also agreed to buy Fiddler AI, which tracks agent behavior, and Dreadnode, which tests AI for weaknesses, in deals valued near $495 million combined. Jim Cramer, host of CNBC’s Mad Money, called the tool a game changer in a post, while CrowdStrike stock fell nearly 10% over the past week.
