On November 4, US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $74.57 million, the first trading day after the midterm elections, while trader James Wynn rebuilt a bearish Bitcoin position on Hyperliquid after three leveraged shorts were liquidated. Hyperliquid records show those shorts closed at $78,244, $79,361 and $80,677 as Bitcoin rebounded, costing Wynn about $1,940; within 20 minutes he opened a new short near $80,430. Hyperliquid is a public crypto exchange where Wynn uses perpetual futures, borrowed-money contracts, and at 40x leverage a roughly 2.5% adverse move can liquidate him. His new bet is about 0.24 Bitcoin, worth roughly $19,280, backed by about $486 and set for liquidation near $81,375; blockchain analytics firm Arkham said he was up $25.
