India’s Finance Minister Flags a Major 2027 Risk as Indian Stocks Slide Over 12%

Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman identified continued capital outflows as one of India’s biggest risks for 2027, as the Nifty 50 fell 12.13% and Sensex 12.78% since the start of 2026, while foreign portfolio investors sold over $33 billion in Indian equities that year.
