Hoskinson Hails Midnight as His Career’s “Magnum Opus,” Says Leios Will Complete Cardano

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said on X on Saturday that he is developing a concept through Midnight that he considers the defining work of his career, saying it could address most problems in cryptocurrency. He also said Cardano’s development would be complete after Leios, an upgrade designed to raise transaction capacity by changing how blocks are produced and validated. In August, Cardano reported that its MusashiNet testnet reached six times the network’s existing mainnet throughput ceiling.
