Grok Imagine's Odyssey shows up as a seven-minute first episode of Musk's promised film

Grok Imagine released the first seven-minute episode of an AI-generated Odyssey series in 4K on Oct. 23, about three months after Elon Musk promised a full-length feature based on Homer’s epic by the end of 2026. The clip is labeled Episode 1 and credits Wonder Studios and director Dev Walker as creative collaborators. Musk shared it on X with the caption Odyssey with Grok Imagine; by Monday the post had more than 19,000 likes, 2,100 reposts, and about 6 million views. Reviewer Anthony Ha said some shots could resemble real actors on a real sea but that the footage lacked artistry, inspiration, or human interest.
