The XRP Ledger Foundation added Flare Networks to its recommended validator list and removed Anodos Finance, which had requested removal before a planned validator shutdown by the end of October. The Foundation said Flare matches the ledger’s core values and takes part in its governance. Recommended lists help server operators choose trusted validators for their Unique Node Lists, which identify validators a server relies on to agree on new ledgers; validators also vote on protocol amendments, which need more than 80% support over two consecutive weeks to activate. After the changes, the Foundation’s list and Ripple’s corresponding list contain 35 matching validator keys, and both include a validator manifest linked to a Flare-associated domain.
