Euronext removed CoinShares’ newly launched Zcash exchange-traded product from its Paris market on Wednesday, Oct. 28, hours after the issuer announced the listing, blocking what would have been Europe’s fourth Zcash fund this year. CoinShares said the product, ZCSH, is fully backed by ZEC, trades in euros and charges a 1.50% annual fee. The suspension comes as EU Regulation 2024/1624, adopted May 31, 2024, is set to bar licensed crypto firms from handling privacy coins such as Zcash from July 1, 2027. Rivals 21Shares, Virtune and Valor listed Zcash ETPs in Europe earlier in 2026.
