In a November 2 notice, Tesla and SpaceX were listed among companies objecting to OKXICE's proposed tokenized-stock venue, and subsequent updates raised the disclosed total to 67, with 56 of 62 originally selected companies filing objections. OKXICE is a joint venture of crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange's parent, and plans to offer blockchain-based versions of U.S. stocks with around-the-clock trading using stablecoins such as USDC. Under the SEC's temporary Innovation Exemption, venues must notify issuers before listing third-party tokenized shares, and issuers may object within 30 days. Boeing and ServiceNow also objected, leaving eight of 63 proposed symbols without a disclosed opt-out. The objections do not prevent companies from pursuing their own tokenization arrangements.
