Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, said on Saturday that he never wrote a viral post urging Binance users to move their funds to rival exchanges or blaming Binance’s 80% market share for holding crypto back, calling the claim made up. Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao had already told the account that published the claim to stop spreading false information, and Grok, the AI chatbot on X, found no matching post from Musk. The denial came as Binance was dealing with fallout from a roughly $6.3 billion hack. Musk and Zhao both rejected the claim in the same thread.
