DOJ Creates 'Super Intelligence' Task Force to Guard Against AI Abuse

The U.S. Department of Justice has established a Super Intelligence Task Force, led by two senior department officials, to guard against abuse of artificial intelligence. The task force will target misuse by foreign governments, criminal groups and fraudsters. It will also push AI developers to tighten internal controls so their systems behave as intended. The initiative pairs enforcement attention to those misusers with pressure on developers to improve how their AI systems operate.
