BNB Standard Corporation, which trades on Nasdaq under BNC, rang the Nasdaq Opening Bell on Monday with Alex Odagiu, who became its chief executive a week earlier. Odagiu had been an investment partner at YZi Labs, a firm linked to Changpeng Zhao that was formerly Binance Labs, and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. He joined BNB Standard’s board and became interim president after a June 23, 2026, settlement with YZi Labs, which had sought board control while owning about 9.4% of the company, then called CEA Industries. The company changed its name from CEA Industries on September 29, 2026, after a $500 million private placement in August 2025 shifted it from nicotine vapes to holding BNB tokens.
