Peter Schiff, a longtime Bitcoin critic, warned on October 24, 2026, that Bitcoin could fall to $75,000 after it dropped below $80,000. Bitcoin had dropped to around $79,100, recovered above $80,000 and briefly reached $81,000, but slipped below $80,000 again on October 26. Schiff said a failure to hold $75,000 would be especially difficult for exchange-traded fund investors because US spot Bitcoin ETFs generally cannot trade on weekends. US spot Bitcoin ETFs had outflows of $635.5 million on October 22 and $137 million on October 23, while Bitcoin traded just above $80,000 after an intraday low near $79,300.
