Arbitrum Gave One Company All Its Guild Money – For Now

On October 23, the Arbitrum Foundation named Offchain as the first member of its Developer Guild, giving it the funds the Guild has already collected and 100% of Guild revenue while it is the sole member. The Guild, introduced in January 2024 with the Arbitrum Expansion Program, collects 2% of net protocol revenue from Arbitrum chains outside One and Nova and 3% of Arbitrum One Priority Gas Auction and Sequencer Fast Feed proceeds; more than 30 chains contribute. Offchain, described as Arbitrum’s primary architect and maintainer, also posted a Stylus activation proposal the same day. Membership is by invitation, with the Foundation controlling approvals and allocations.
