Anthropic launched Claude Personal Finance in a US beta on November 5, 2026, letting paying subscribers connect bank accounts and cards through Plaid and ask Claude about their spending. The feature is available to Claude Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers, whose monthly web-billed plans cost $20, $100, and $200, respectively. Claude can view account details and up to two years of transaction history to analyze expenses and generate charts, but cannot move money, and Anthropic says it is not intended for investment advice. The launch comes nearly six months after OpenAI introduced a similar personal finance feature in ChatGPT on May 15, 2026, which later expanded beyond its initial US Pro preview.
