Amundi launched an Ethereum-based share class of its Core STOXX Europe 600 fund on November 5, working with asset-servicing partner CACEIS. Investors receive units in the existing fund rather than blockchain-issued shares of the index’s 600 companies; CACEIS provides the technology to issue fund units on public Ethereum, while Amundi continues to operate the fund and offer traditional access. The launch follows Amundi’s November 2025 tokenized Amundi Funds Cash EUR money-market fund; on October 8, 2026, Crédit Agricole Assurances invested an initial €100 million in a tokenized unit of that fund. Amundi’s announcement did not specify settlement time, costs, or whether investors could trade the new units at any time or through an active secondary market.
