3 Altcoins to Watch This Week as Bitcoin Struggles Near $80,000

In the last week of October, MemeCore, Ethena and Zcash drew attention as altcoins moving against a crypto pullback, while Bitcoin fought to hold $80,000 after three straight weekly losses and weak investor confidence and global stock volatility weighed on prices. MemeCore had climbed nearly 44% but traded near $0.97, just below a $0.976 level that had capped gains, with $0.75 cited as its strongest remaining price floor. Ethena had gained nearly 8% over the prior week, repeatedly holding $0.188 after an October release of previously restricted tokens and trading around $0.205.
